The Department of catering science was established to tap the potential growth prospects in the hospitality industry. Affiliated to Periyar University, the undergraduate programmes strives to enable students to get an in-depth insight into real world challenges and opportunities in the hospitality industry.
Students are trained in five core subjects pertaining to the areas of food service and hotel management. Over a period of three years, Students are exposed to intense training programmes at star hotel in various part of the country.
