End Semester (Autonomous) Examinations are conducted during the months of November–December and April–May every year. The College follows a Single Valuation System for both UG and PG programmes.
The result of every semester will be published through college website (www.muthayammal.in).
Students may apply for revaluation /photocopies of valued answer scripts using the prescribed application form available at the college office or downloadable from the college website. • Fee: UG : Rs. 500/- per paper PG: Rs. 600/- per paper • Students may apply for any number of answer scripts except practical. • Applications must reach the Controller of Examinations within 10 days from the date of publication of results. Important Note Incomplete or defective applications will be rejected. Fees paid for photocopies will neither be refunded nor adjusted towards future applications or fees.
Students may obtain their Provisional Certificate from the college office if they have already paid Rs. 750/- during the final semester/year examination.
Students who have not paid the fee they should remit Rs. 750/- at the college office. In Case of Urgency A Pass Certificate will be issued on the same day upon submission of valid proof of urgency to the Controller of Examinations along with a payment of Rs. 300/-.
Duplicate Certificates can be obtained from the Office of the Controller of Examinations by submitting a requisition letter addressed to the Controller of Examinations along with a payment of Rs. 500/- per certificate.
The Consolidated Mark Statement will be issued automatically to students who have already paid Rs. 600/- along with the final semester/year examination fee. Students who have not paid the fee are requested to remit Rs. 600/- and apply to:The Controller of Examinations, MCAS
Rank Certificates will be issued to students during Graduation Day. The names of rank holders will be intimated to the respective departments. Students securing ranks within the Top 10% may obtain the Rank Certificate by submitting a requisition letter along with a payment of Rs. 500/-.
Final semester students will receive the application form for the Degree Certificate. Students are instructed to pay Rs. 1,750/- (including Provisional Certificate and Convocation application charges) along with the final semester examination fee. Convocation Certificates will be issued after the Convocation Function of Periyar University, in the graduation day which is generally conducted during the month of March every year. The certificates will be distributed during the College Graduation Ceremony.
Graduation Day
To honour students who have successfully completed their degree and diploma programmes, MCAS conducts Graduation Day every year. Information regarding graduands and gold medalists will be communicated to the departments at least 15 days prior to the Graduation Ceremony.
