About the Department

The Department of Textile and Fashion Designing was established in the year 2004. It adopts a well tailored curriculum that focuses on imparting sound knowledge on various aspects of Textile and Fashion Designing. The program also provides a plenty of opportunities for Fashion Designing aspirants. It is instituted with a state of the art infrastructure and facilities to nurture a world class learning experience emphasising on the practical element of designing.

Unique Infrastructure

Separate laboratories for Dyeing, Printing, Textile Testing and Garment Construction have been built to enable the students to learn through practical oriented study. All laboratories are equipped with Power operated machines besides a CAD laboratory provided with textile and fashion designing application and software.
