About the Department

Department of Biotechnology was established in the year 1999.The Department offers UG, PG and research programmes. The department of Biotechnology becomes a member of the All-India Biotech Association and a life member of Biotech Consortium India Ltd.Currently the department has a strength of more than 180 students pursuing their studies. The department has its credit of 30 gold medallists and 169 rank holders between 2002-2022. Several hundreds of graduates, post graduates and Doctorates are completed from this department and most of the people are working in various biotechnology establishments all over India and abroad.
